Thank you for choosing Unique Car Mats (UK) Ltd for your automotive needs. This Shipping Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding the delivery of products purchased through our retail websites www.carmats4u.com and www.carmatsandaccessories.com ("the Websites").

It's worth knowing that our on-time delivery rate for the last twelve months was 98%, which we're pretty proud of, with an average delivery time of 1-5 working days. This does mean that in some cases (the remaining 2%), we may need a little more time to dispatch and deliver your order. Generally, this is around peak time (November to April), so please bare this in mind when choosing standard or express delivery. During National Bank Holidays, delays should be expected as both our production facilities and our couriers will not be operational. Please allow additional working days (each Bank Holiday Day) for dispatch and delivery during these times.
We provide an Estimated Delivery Window which means we may beat or exceed it. Unfortunately, we're unable to provide an exact date due to higher order volumes but you will be able to plan for delivery once the courier collects your order. Generally, for Economy Deliveries, production takes around 3-5 working days on average but sometimes, depending on order volumes, this can exceed to up to 8-10 working days. For express orders, production takes 1-3 working days, but again, this can exceed to 4 during peak periods. Once production is complete, the courier will then collect and deliver within the delivery window we provided, for example 1-3 working days, depending on the shipping service chosen.
As a UK Manufacturer, we make your items specifically to order, just for you. We're really proud of our products, so proud in fact, that we check each element for even the most minor defects. If we're not happy with any element of your product, it's rejected and rebuilt to meet our high standards. So if your dispatch time is taking a little longer than usual, this may be why. During busy periods such as Bank Holidays, it may take additional time to manufacture your goods, especially if goods are in any way customised, in particular, any items which have artwork. As the UK's number one manufacturer, we are, as you can imagine, pretty popular.
We've invested thousands into streamlining our production process such as more better machinery, more automation and finally, more man-power. We're not a drop shipper (a seller who never see's the product). We make everything for you, right here in the UK. So if you need something simple and fast, we recommend choosing an express service, but if you're customising any of our products with artwork etc, then have in mind, it could take a little longer.
Please be advised that if you are not within the UK Mainland, postage charges and delivery times will vary depending on your location. Extra charges will be applied to the original postage fee if you are not within the UK Mainland. Areas such as Ireland, The Scottish Highlands or any offshore islands within the UK are subject to extra shipping charges. If you would like more info on prices, please contact us.
Delivery of Goods:
Our couriers will provide the option to deliver to a neighbour or safe place if you're not home. Read our Shipping Policy for more details.
- Payment is taken upon successful placement of an order.
- We use various payment processors including Stripe and PayPal. Personal details will be shared with these overseas processors.
- Promotions may be subject to additional terms and conditions.
- Any dates quoted for delivery are approximate only and we cannot be held liable for any costs incurred if delivery is delayed.
- Goods that arrive damaged should not be signed for. If goods that are damaged are signed for, we will not be liable or responsible for any costs incurred in replacing the item/s. Please refuse the delivery of any damaged articles.
- Where the courier is unable to deliver the Goods, they will either attempt to deliver to a neighbour, attempt to redeliver the following day, leave a card for you to rearrange a suitable time for redelivery
- You will be responsible for any return costs incurred due to change of mind.

- We offer various shipping options such as Economy Delivery and Express Delivery to UK Mainland customers.
- We offer Economy shipping options to customers outside of the UK Mainland.
- Addresses outside of the 'UK Mainland' will incur additional charges depending on your location.
- Delivery time to customers outside of the UK Mainland can vary.
- Express deliveries are available within the UK Mainland but we can not guarantee next working day delivery.
- Delayed deliveries outside of our control can not be compensated.
- We may compensate customers if we are responsible for the delayed delivery.
- Compensation is paid on a case by case basis but will never exceed more than the delivery price paid.
- Shipping times are only estimated so we may beat or exceed the delivery time window provided.
- The locations that we ship to are subject to change without prior notice.
- You are charged the applicable VAT/Tax based on your country of residence.
- If you're outside of the UK, customs charges are covered by us for orders under £150; for orders over £150, customers may be responsible for customs charges.
- For deliveries outside of the UK, we will ship the VAT / Tax invoice with your item/s to allow customs clearance (for orders under £150).

Ordering From Outside of the UK
If you're ordering outside of the UK, we will charge you the applicable VAT/TAX rate for your country. Providing the order is under £150 in value, we will send with your order, a VAT/TAX invoice so the item can clear customs, without you paying further charges. If the order is £150 or more in value, customs charges will need to be paid by the buyer. You will receive a notification of this during the import stage.
Tracking Your Order
During busy periods such as Bank Holidays and Christmas, we politely ask that you allow us up 3-10 working days to prepare and deliver your order. Although our usual delivery times are around 3-5 working days (outside of peak / June-Sep), some products can take longer to prepare. If you have customised your product by adding your own logo or text, we ask that allow us up to 10 working days to produce your item/s. You can check the status of your order easily by using the Track Order facility. Please click the 'Track Order' button below and have your order number and email address ready.
If you haven't received your order and you require further assistance, you can email us now using the contact button below or you can call us 01754 613974 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Please remember, sometimes in very rare cases, parcels can be lost in transit or arrive damaged. We ask that you contact us immediately so we can rectify, replace or chase your delivery on your behalf.
